QUROPE WorkPackage 8:
International contacts between research communities in Europe and overseas
The aims of WP8 are sustained international contacts between the QIPC researcher community in Europe, and research communities overseas (US and Canada, Asia, Australia, and others).
Specifically, within WP8 we want to strengthen the European QIPC community by establishing new contacts and scientific exchanges, increasing the global connectedness of European researchers, promoting European research in QIPC in the USA, Asia, etc., in order to increase its visibility, and attracting the most excellent non-European researchers in QIPC to research centers in Europe.

- The job database is up and running at the QUROPE web site.
- International Session at the Cluster Review Meeting 2008
- An 'International Session' was organized at the QIP day during the 2008 QIPC Cluster Review Meeting in Paris. We have had contributions from Charles Marcus (USA), Seigo Tarucha (Japan), Dana Berkeland (USA) and Raymond Laflamme (Canada, via video-conference).
