WP3: Public outreach - increasing the public visibility and awareness of the field
WP3 aims at increasing the impact on society via improved public visibility and awareness of the field, through specific initiatives such as articles in specialized/popular science/general press, promotion, a dedicated documentary movie, etc. It will collect and provide material for the public part of the project web site. It will also regularly produce specific publications to reflect and promote QIPC research in Europe, possibly in cooperation with the three FP6 Integrated Projects and the EC (FET QIPC Proactive Initiative).

- Research and technology stand at ICT 2008, Lyon

QUROPE, in collaboration with the Integrated Project SECOQC, co-organized a Research and technology stand at the Information and Communication Technologies Event ICT2008 in Lyon. A short description of the stand is available here.
The Integrated Project QAP organized another stand. Some pictures, visual presentations, and associated animations are available from their web site.
