We are happy to announce that, by decision of the QUROPE - QIPC Award Committee and the Governing Board of QUROPE, the 2009 European Quantum Information Young Investigator Awardhas been awarded to Dr. Jeremy L. O'Brien For his pioneering contributions to optical quantum information processing and quantum measurement. The Award, consisting of a diploma and 3000€ will be presented at the QIPC conference in Rome, September 21-25, 2009.
